Four Sigmatic Mushroom Coffee Mix with Cordyceps & Chaga Review (bought from iHerb)
It’s been once again way too long since the last review (with this pace, I’m going to skip Christmas! Yikes!). I’m an instant coffee addict (I want to enjoy my cup of coffee fast and easy). I was happy to notice that iHerb carries new set of instant coffees by a company called Four Sigmatic.
To my surprise this company originates from Finland (Hey, that’s where I live! Which also explains my spelling errors). I have never heard of this company before!
Four Sigmatic offers a new superfood coffee with added Cordyceps & Chaga. Coffee used is 100% Arabica coffee. 40mg of caffeine.
Package has an indicator of how “shroomy” the taste is, and this one is 3½/5. Taste surely is very shroomy (also the scent), and if you are not of mushrooms, this certainly isn’t for your. Much stronger mushroom taste than any other mushroom coffees I have tried, but that’s not a bad thing. I really enjoy the taste on this coffee mix. Taste is very full and warm. When there’s cold outside, I’m sure this coffee will warm you up.
Now to things that I don’t like that much. First the price; Certainly almost 13 dollar price tag turns this into a premium product. Hard to find myself drinking this daily. Second; the package. As you can see from my unboxing video, it’s pretty messy to get the powder out of packaging. Longreen’s instant coffee is much easier to use. Not really environment friendly, when half the package is empty, and the smaller packages are also very roomy.
I still prefer the Longreen Corporation’s, Reishi Coffee as it’s offer best price and quality ratio on “superfood” instant coffees.
