Four new protein bar reviews this time.<\/p>\n

MET-Rx, Big 100 Colossal, Meal Replacement Bar, Super Cookie Crunch, 12 Bars, 3.52 oz (100 g) Each<\/h3>\n

These are Colossal indeed! Biggest meal replacement bar I’ve seen. Taste like a dessert cake\/cookie. Nice solid texture, with bit of crunch. Hard to eat the whole protein bar at one “meal”. 1\/3 is great amount to use as dessert.<\/p>\n

Detour, Lean Muscle Bars, Cookie Dough Caramel Crisp, 12 Bars, 3.2 oz (90 g) Each<\/h3>\n

Never tried Detour products before. I had high hopes for this one. To be honest the taste is too sweet and artificial. I find taste and texture close to nauseating. I need to take this bar with cold milk or coffee. There’s only 3 grams of sugar. Also has Omega 3s. 21 vitamins + minerals. Making this a real meal replacement bar. Too bad that the taste isn’t top notch.<\/p>\n

Isatori, Eat-Smart, Chocolate Peanut Caramel Crunch, 9 Bars, 2.82 oz (80 g) Each<\/h3>\n

Isatori’s “Frosted Cinnamon Caramel Crunch” is one of my favorite energy\/protein bars. This bar melts too fast (you might want to keep this in cold), and peanut taste is too dominating. These are also crunchy and has great texture. My brother says these are better than the cinnamon versions, but we all have different taste preferences. If you like more nutty flavored chocolate bars, this might be for you. I’ll stay with frosted cinnamond. :)<\/p>\n

BNRG makes superb energy bars. This is yet again so delicious that you can’t stop eating them! Great crunchy texture, and lovely looking protein\/energy bars. Great startup for any morning.<\/p>\n
