New series starting today called “Rarity Of The Day”. My plan is to post one rare song (Preidents of the USA (or related) each day until X-mas day.

Today’s track is Farmer John.

This was orignally “labeled” as a Neil Young cover, but the original Farmer John song was done by the Don & Dewey in 1959! I think the Subset version is based on version done by The Premiers. There are dozens of other artists who have covered this song, but Subset really turned this like it’s one of their. Band is on fire, and both Sir Mix-A-Lot and Outtasite are rapping like there is a rap battle going on stage… Subset is one of those band you either love or hate.
