Couple of Chris Ballew tracks featured on E3

The Presidents of the USA has played few times in various Microsoft events in the past, and this time Caspar Babypants track Googly Eyes was used on Microsoft’s press conference at E3 (biggest video game conference), while showing some Xbox Kinect games. From what I heard: Chris has made a deal with Microsoft, and they made a whole app around that song.

Anyone know more about what app, and where you can get it?

edit: Xbox game is called Googly Eyes, and it has Googly Eyes as a theme song too. 🙂 Read the game review here.

The Presidents of the USA (Chris Ballew and Andrew Mckeag) were on Marty Riemer show few days ago, and it’s one of those podcast you need to listen. PUSA 2011 Tour Dates?

I wrote back in February that there might be Presidents of USA tour dates in June (2011), and this was tweeted yesterday: 2011-05-27 – therealpusa (The Presidents): Rehearsal emails flying- could it be that PUSA may grease the creaking wheels soon and take on the Devil at the crossroads?

Also on Facebook the Presidents Rock posted “are considering rehearsals. Should we? Nahhhhh!!!”

There are three possible spots for short Summer tour (based on Caspar Babypants show schedule) June 4 – June 16, July 25 – August 8, and August 28 – September 16th. Of course there could be a late 2011 tour dates too.

So far the only confirmed show is Bumbershoot 2011 on September.
