Epic Bar “Meat Bars” Reviews – Bought from iHerb
Alternative option for the regular protein bars? Here’s one way to do it. Meat bars! I bought bunch of Epic Bar meat bars for the review purposes. Let’s see how epic those are. Tested flavors: Chicken Sriracha, Bison Bacon + Cranberry, Chicken Sesame + BBQ, Beef Apple + Uncured Bacon, and Pulled Pork Pineapple.
Epic Bar, Chicken Sriracha Bar, 12 Bars, 1.5 oz (43 g) Each
From first bite you can instantly tell that this is eally salty. Red pepper adds plenty of spiceness to this meat bar. Packed in with plenty of protein. There’s just something with this spice mix that I don’t like, and the bars are too dry. Surely the driest chicken I have tried. Not my favorite

Epic Bar, Chicken, Sesame + BBQ Seasoned Bars, 12 bars, 1.5 oz (43 g) Each:
Like the Shirachi meat bar, this is also a really salty and dry. I can’t say I can taste the sesame seeds, but ginger is easy to pick, and peppers has a really strong taste. This has a strange spice mix too. Maybe works in different country.

Epic Bar, Beef, Apple + Uncured Bacon Bar, 12 bars, 1.5 oz (43 g) Each
This surely is different compared to the previous two. Texture is not dry at all, and there’s a sweet apple taste. Plenty of fat. Second best.

Epic Bar, Pulled Pork Pineapple Bar, 12 Bars, 1.5 oz (43 g) Each:
Even thought this is a pineapple version. I can’t taste the pineapple at all. Only a strong taste of salt.

Epic Bar, Bison, Bacon + Cranberry Bar, 12 Bars, 1.5 oz (43 g) Each
I don’t usually like sweet meat jerky, but this is mouthwatering good. Most calories, most taste. Cranberries and meat makes a perfect combo. This is easy to recommend.
Stars: 5/5
Conclusion:
I liked the meat bites from the same company more, than these meat bars. There’s a wide selection to choose from. Bacon + Cranberry I can see myself buying again and again.
