My Favorite Affiliate Networks – A Short Review of Each Service
There are plenty of affiliate networks you can choose from. I am only using affiliate network services where I’m also a happy customer/service user. It’s easier to recommend and sell products/services you are familiar with.
1. Iherb
Still number 1. After many years as a happy customer, it’s still my number one place to shop natural products and supplements. Also my favorite affiliate network.
Yes, their “affiliate program” has gotten worse over the years, but it doesn’t mean that the shopping experience itself has gotten worse. Yes, it gives you less rewards from referrals, but on the other hand, you’ll get to share your discount code, and get more happy customers, and little bonus for yourself too. Still a win-win situation.
How it works?
Make your first purchase from iHerb, and you’ll get your own iHerb discount coupon code. All you got to do is to share your own coupon to your friends. Two words: social media. :)
2. Record Union
Also a very happy customer with Record Union service. You can publish your own music to major digital online stores: Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Deezer, Rdio… You name it.
How it works?: Join Record Union A&R program. Then you’ll get your own coupon code that you can pass to your friends. You’ll get really small percentage of record sales.

3. Google Adsense
Long time Google user (Gmail, Blogger etc.). Adsense is pretty much the most know affiliate network.
How it works: Join Google Adsense. Add your custom html code to your website/blog. Works really easy on Blogger etc.
4. Amazon.com & Amazon UK
I use Amazon to buy video games, electronics, movies..etc. Great service. They have their own Amazon Associates service, where you gain small percentage of each sale you get via your website.
How it works: Join Amazon associates service, and share product links and banners on your website/blog
5. Vitacost
Similar to iHerb. Although the Vitacost’s rewards referral system doesn’t give you real money, but rewards that you can spend on their website. Fairly easy to use, but not as good experience as iHerb. Their website is little messy, and international shipping costs are higher.
How it works: Make your first purchase from Vitacost, and you’ll get your own Vitacost rewards link you can share to your friends.
6. Adf.ly
I’m not a heavy user of Adfly, but the concept is great. I just wish that it would get rid of the bad reputation it has. Maybe it requires one of the big players to buy the service, and make a fresh start. I have used this only on few blog posts, and videos. They’ve still gain some clicks daily basis, but this isn’t a goldmine (nor is the any other service.
How it works: Join the Afly service, and use their url shortener, and share your custom links.
7. Others (LinkShare, ShareASale, ClickBank, Commission Junction, TradeTracker, Tradedoubler..)
Some might wonder what these are down at the bottom. To be honest, I have tried so many other affiliate networks that I have lost the track. I haven’t found the one that fits for me from these services, but it doesn’t mean that they are bad. Just wasn’t my favorites. They are all worth checking out, as they might fit for you.
